Iām in favor of this proposal! Excited to see how Push Chain evolves as a shared state L1 for universal apps
This proposal is brilliant and will definitely take push to the next level
I have been building consumer apps for a while, and there has always been some friction in choosing a chain or service that meets the appās requirements. Push Chain seems to address this exact problem. Having personally built apps on Push Chain during my time with Push Foundation, I have found that it greatly simplifies the process of shipping consumer apps. I am in favor of this proposal.
What an incredible proposal! Push Chain takes Push Protocol to the next level, evolving from being the standard for notifications and chats to becoming a shared Layer 1 that promises universal and highly scalable applications.
The best part is imagining ModeSpray being part of this ecosystem. Itās already a powerful tool for massive token transactions, but integrating with Push Chain could take its potential even further in a more connected and efficient environment.
I know the journey wonāt be easy, but I fully trust in the power of the web3 ecosystem and the active involvement of devs and unique strategic alliances.
Iām super excited to see this in action! Itās bound to be a huge step toward redefining interoperability in web3.
Keep pushing dear community!
Considering that @harshrajat and the Push team have not disclosed how they plan to fund the development and maintenance of this new chain, itās clear that if this proposal passes, it will place a significant strain on the treasury. With the token already near all-time lows, this could be highly damaging to the project and long-term holders.
EPNS was a great idea. However, Push has not delivered on its potential. As of today, the team hasnāt demonstrated that notifications effectively serve their core purposeādriving Calls to Action. Features like chats, group chats, the never-ready Push nodes remain underutilized or incomplete, and letās not even get into the Push Spaces failureā¦
I urge the community to reconsider their support for this proposal. It appears to be another failure in the making. Transparency from the Push team could change the narrative, but we need answers to critical questions:
- Where will the funding come from for the chain development?
- How will the chain be maintained financially? if you havenāt even mentioned incentives.
- Why isnāt there a clear tokenomics plan for the chain?
Just take a look at section 4.4.1 in the whitepaperā¦
Who launches a chain without even figuring out how to calculate fees?!
Even more concerning isā¦ Why doesnāt @harshrajat , as the project lead, engage directly with the community to address these concerns?
This proposal is poorly thought out and could have serious negative consequences for the project overall.
This is incredible. Looking forward to this next phase
Exciting times ahead for Push Protocol
Push Chain is a go for me
I agree that there needs to be way more clarification on this initiative. I do believe that @harshrajat has the right intentions and even on the tokenomics side it does sound like the token migration will be for 1 for 1 same percentage ownership swap between PUSH protocol and Push chain which is the only way to make this fair and whole for everyone. That said, I am not sure why the team wouldnāt do a community call/AMA about Push chain at the very least before the vote ends on this proposal and clarify very important and burning questions. That just isnāt the right way to do things in general. The community badly deserves a call especially at this time when PUSH is still down 98% from its highs and very likely the vast majority of the community are OG holders who have fought through all the market pain. However, if tokenomics are as we expect (proportional ownership) and PUSH is able to rebrand to tell a new exciting narrative with a differentiated marketing than what they have done vs. the last 3 years, I truly believe this could be very rewarding for everyone. The alternative is that we stick with PUSH Protocol which, as much as we hate to admit it, hasnāt gained almost any traction and attention, so any change is good at this point imo. Letās do a community call asap @harshrajat. Thank you.
Fantastic work on this proposal and sharing its vision and benefits. A universal L1 shared state chain would be very useful in fostering collaboration, shared utility and faster adoption of Web3 as an ecosystem. This feels like what is missing in Web3ā¦organizations still working separately with VC funding aiming for individual wins and gains. This is not helping the industry as it is slowing down progress that could be happening with shared goals and a universal chain.
From what I have experienced as a grantee, I would entrust Push to be the right fit to create this for the industry. Your technology is established, and your values as an organization and team are very aligned with being able to create connection and coherence in a fragmented industry.
Additionally, you have a lot of great partners and strong reputation, so I imagine you will have a good initial baseline of builders and chain adopters. What would be great to see down the line is an industry-wide Push campaign with the shared goals of driving awareness of Web3 as an ecosystem and a collective to the next wave of adopters.
I believe in you all and am here to support this vision, as it very much aligns with my organizationās intentions as well!
this is a great idea and iām looking forward to it
Well done Team. I didnt understand all of it, but one thing for sure you are cooking.
Iām in favor of this proposal
The Proposal for community support for the launch of Push Chain has passed the discussion phase and the temperature check with overwhelmingly positive support. The Snapshot has now been taken. The vote commences at 2 PM UTC (9AM EST) and runs until December 23rd at 10PM UTC(5PM EST). We all look forward to everyoneās votes here: (https://snapshot.box/#/s:pushdao.eth/proposal/0xa4a301c9a346356326d59e425245459d9fbde71b02aabc49a4ce191f0504f66a).
Push Chain sounds like a game-changer! This is a good proposal.
This is just the beginning.
Keep Pushing
Iām really excited about the potential of Push Chain to simplify web3 for everyone! The idea of āany app, any user, any chainā is incredibly powerful. Imagine a world where you donāt need to juggle different wallets and understand complex gas fees to use a decentralized application. Features like wallet and fee abstraction have the potential to make web3 much more accessible and user-friendly.
I also think the focus on onchain AI is a really smart move. Push Chainās architecture is well-suited to support the demands of AI applications, and this could unlock a whole new wave of innovative and powerful decentralized applications.
Iām eager to see how this project develops and how it can contribute to a more inclusive and user-friendly web3 future.
as this proposal contributes positively to the evolution of the Push ecosystem and the broader web3 ecosystem in general, i will be voting FOR in support of this proposal on Snapshot. excited for what comes next after this!
Itās interesting to see consumer transaction and traditional tx being difference, this will open a new door for use cases to handle masses.
In order to create a seamless user experience, Push Protocol must integrate across multiple blockchains. This will enable cross-chain notifications, messaging, and more, thereby fostering a more cohesive and interconnected web3 ecosystem.
By integrating Push Protocol across multiple blockchains, we can enrich the entire ecosystem with a more comprehensive and user-friendly communication network. This, in turn, will attract more users, developers, and innovators to the space.
Making decentralized applications more accessible and enjoyable to use, Push Protocol can catalyze the adoption of cryptography beyond DeFi use cases. This will have a profound impact on the growth and development of the web3 ecosystem.
Push Protocol will empower all types of creators, from developers to artists, by providing them with a seamless and user-friendly platform for building and interacting with decentralized applications.
integrating Push Protocol across multiple blockchains, we can foster innovation and scalability within the web3 ecosystem. This will enable the development of more complex and sophisticated decentralized applications, which will, in turn, drive growth and adoption.
Imagine a mighty river that flows through a vast and fertile landscape. The river represents the web3 ecosystem, and its tributaries represent the various blockchains that feed into it. Just as the river is nourished and strengthened by its tributaries, the web3 ecosystem is enriched and empowered by the integration of multiple blockchains. By connecting these tributaries, we can create a more robust, resilient, and scalable ecosystem that benefits all its users.
By voting in favor of this integration, we can empower creators, catalyze cryptographic adoption, and foster innovation and scalability within the ecosystem.
My vote counts in
Push Chain sounds like a game-changer for web3, addressing some of the biggest pain points like fragmentation and complex UX. The idea of shared-state infrastructure, wallet/fee abstraction, and cross-chain compatibility is exciting for creating truly universal apps. Looking forward to seeing how this develops and impacts mass adoption.
Just went through the proposal, and itās incredible to see the vision for Push Chain taking shape. The amount of thought and work behind this is truly impressive. Excited to be part of this journey and looking forward to contributing and building alongside the community!
