Grantee Report for Mini Grant Category: Push Grants Program

Hello everyone! We are excited to submit the completion of our milestones for our mini-grant. Please see our updates here and this is our Charmverse application link as a reference.

Project Overview:

Our project with Push is called ‘Si Her Push Web3’, which is focused on utilizing Push Protocol’s technologies for communication channels in support of the women in web3 ecosystem. Our mini grant supported us in:

  • Initiating our Push broadcast channell, which broadcasts updates about women in web3 happenings. It has been added to our home page =in the Subscribe button. We have also added it to our new Communities page, where we are now starting to invite Women in Web3 community leaders to submit their content. And finally, we have added it to our new Experiences page, where we are inviting event and experience organizers to add their organizations. As we fill up the Communities and Experiences pages, we will add additional sub-channels to our broadcast channel with Community and Experiences updates.

  • Initiating our Si Her Growth Network group chat, which has the focus of sharing learn-to-earn, funding and career growth opportunities. This is a free chat group that is a fantastic onboarding group for those that want to discover SI<3> before joining our membership platform. We have set up a channel for this in our Common Ground, and are hosting a workshop on September 19th introducing this chat group and Push, to support our members in better understanding the purpose of a decentralized push channel and how Push works. We discovered that many people needed 1-1 guidance on activating their Push chat experience, so we decided to streamline this within a workshop and recorded tutorial from the session to have within our Si Her Growth Network channel in Common Ground.

Add your project’s socials in this section, too. X (Twitter), Warpcast, Discord, etc. Contact information is cool, too, if you want people to reach out.

Metrics Impacted Explain how you have impacted relevant Push Protocol/Push DAO metrics, such as users onboarded, notifications sent, etc.

Push Channel messages: 6 messages, aiming for 2-3 per week. 17 subscribers.

Push Chat: Launched! 50+ members and content initiated.

Si Her Growth Network with Push workshop on September 19th (beginning invites to this event to those that have registered in our Push chat group)

Current Status and Next Steps How has your project improved or been impacted by the Grant you have received from the DAO? Please tell us what the next steps are in your project’s development.

We have been very happy about the support we have received from the Push team in helping us activate these channels. There have been bugs and some issues along the way, along with a learning curve from our team and members, but we understand this as a process with new technology and communication channels. We are here as a partner for the long-term and believe we have two core channels that will now be central in our ecosystem’s growth. Going forward, we plan to activate the following:

  • Push admin and role management responsibilities and authorities within our SI<3> Hat Tree. We were happy to learn from the Hats Tree team that Push has an integration, and will be working to set up authorities for Push within the Hats Tree.
  • Add additional sub-channels to our main broadcast channel for events, community and grants updates
  • Explore Push’s other offerings including video
  • Explore workshops for other women in web3 community leaders to create their own Push chats and channels, with ours as an example

Si3 was the first grantee of PGP v3, that’s why I’m very happy to see their progress. There’s an emotional connection that makes me admire your team for sharing our DAO’s vision of supporting the development of women in the web3 ecosystem.

Can’t wait to see their notification channel grow, incorporating notifications about events and unstoppable opportunities for the community.

Could you @karakrysthal please share the link to the Push chat (if there are no conditions for joining), and also the link to the Push workshop on September 19th?

I’m excited to join and announce these initiatives to our community.

Hi @Carlaupgrade this means so much! We feel the same with Push.

Our Push chat group is by application only, as we want to keep it as a safe and inviting space for women and non-binary participants.

To join, they complete this DeForm (we have had over 50 applicants!), and have initiated our Si Her Growth channel in the free (but gated by pronouns and an application form) area of our Common Ground membership form.

We are starting to send out invites to the workshop on Sunday, which is for the DeForm applicants and will support them in activating their Push and chat experience, as there have been some technical and educational challenges for them in activating. This workshop will be recorded and live on in our Common Ground channel for ongoing onboarding.
