Tutorial Video for Ambassadors
- Created an in-depth tutorial video on how to navigate Zealy, locate tasks, and submit work. This tutorial clarified the platform’s functionality and provided a step-by-step guide for getting started.
Weekly Task Additions and Supervision
- Collaborated with the DAO Council to create new tasks that align with DAO initiatives, added and supervised new weekly tasks for each hub, ensuring alignment with ongoing activities and objectives. These tasks included:
- Push Spaces
- Push Workshop
- Governance Call
- Demo Thursday
- Narrative of the Month
- Push Points Program
Implementation of Zealy 2.0 Task Structuring
- Recognized the need for a more organized structure within Zealy due to the high volume of tasks under a single section.
- Initiated the division of large task groups into subtasks and created new categories, making it easier for ambassadors to locate and select tasks that align with their interests.
Additionally, maintained ongoing coordination with the DAO Council to support the continuous updating of tasks, integration of new projects, and inclusion of events on Zealy boards, ensuring relevance and alignment with DAO objectives.
Hub Feedback on Zealy 2.0
Received comprehensive feedback from ambassador hubs about the Zealy 2.0 structure, summarized as follows:
- Task Categorization Improvement:
- Ambassadors found the additional categories and modules beneficial for task organization. The structure now provides clearer visibility, making it easier for ambassadors to locate tasks of interest. (All Hubs)
- Task Scoring Adjustments Needed:
- Hubs suggested a review of task scores for better balance. For example, video creation currently awards higher XP than other content, such as long Twitter threads. This score distribution may discourage ambassadors without video creation skills, as they may need to complete more tasks to match the XP earned through videos. (India, Latam Hub)
- Suggested creating a breakdown of complex tasks (e.g., video creation) into distinct steps such as scripting, recording, editing, and publishing, allowing different ambassadors to contribute to specific parts. (Latam Hub)
- Admin Task Recognition:
- Proposed creating a dedicated “Zealy board maintenance” task to acknowledge the extensive time commitment required for task creation, review, and maintenance. This would ensure PM and administrative activities are recognized in the scoring. (India, Latam Hub)
- Additional Scoring and Task Options:
- Recommended adding additional tasks to expand opportunities for ambassadors and enrich the program. This would provide diverse ways to earn XP, motivating a broader range of contributions. (India, Latam Hub)
- Report Enhancements:
- Suggested improvements to the marketing report to include detailed metrics from social networks and corresponding analysis. This process, while time-intensive, provides insights into community engagement and growth. (Latam Hub)
Conclusion
This month was marked by strategic task restructuring, extensive ambassador support, and feedback implementation aimed at improving the Zealy experience. The new categorization system has been positively received, and I’m working closely with hub leaders to ensure that task scores and structures are fair and engaging for all ambassadors. Additionally, weekly meetings and individual feedback sessions have been invaluable for gathering insights and encouraging active participation in Zealy.
