October Report - Push Ambassadors

Monthly Report for Zealy Project Management in Push Protocol

Key Objectives for the First Month as Project Manager:

  1. Build a Structured Task System: Develop and categorize tasks effectively for each ambassador hub, ensuring they align with ambassadors’ needs and drive engagement.
  2. Enhance Ambassador Collaboration: Foster a communication-friendly environment with hub leaders to keep collaboration and task clarity high.
  3. Monitor and Motivate Performance: Regularly review each hub’s progress, provide feedback to boost participation.
  4. Incorporate Feedback Loops: Establish weekly/monthly feedback sessions to refine tasks and improve the overall ambassador experience.
  5. Ensure Transparency and Engagement: Keep all ambassadors informed on platform updates, rewards, and ways to maximize their contributions, especially by promoting participation.

Meetings and Task Reviews

  • Ambassador Hub Meetings: Conducted a total of 7 meetings with ambassador hubs to review task progress, gather feedback, and encourage active participation in Zealy. Additionally, provided a comprehensive report on each hub’s performance, including task completion rates and Zealy points earned. The full monthly report is available in the following section, Performance Data Overview.
  • India Hub:

    • Weekly Meetings: Held weekly sessions to guide ambassadors through their tasks, provide updates, and address any challenges.
    • Feedback Meetings: Conducted two feedback meetings with the India Moderator to discuss Zealy task feedback and propose adjustments.
    • Staking and Participation Encouragement: Motivated Indian ambassadors to stake at least 111 PUSH tokens to gain access to the token-gated Push Ambassadors chat group, allowing them to vote on proposals and contribute to the community. Gathered and utilized feedback from these interactions to update Zealy tasks.
  • LATAM Hub:

    • Team Meeting: Organized a group meeting to discuss strategies for success on Zealy, answer questions, and boost engagement.
    • One-on-One with Leader: Conducted a 1:1 meeting with the LATAM leader to review the new Zealy 2.0 tasks and introduce the “Build with Wallet Tracker” initiative, which focuses on development-related tasks. Maintained regular communication via Telegram to address any questions.
  • African Hub:

    • Team Meeting and Support: Addressed general queries about Zealy, advised on task completion strategies, and provided additional support.
    • Feedback Collection: Gathered feedback on Zealy 2.0 tasks, which was largely positive. Maintained ongoing communication with the African hub leader through Telegram for updates and clarifications.

Tutorial Video for Ambassadors

  • Created an in-depth tutorial video on how to navigate Zealy, locate tasks, and submit work. This tutorial clarified the platform’s functionality and provided a step-by-step guide for getting started.

Weekly Task Additions and Supervision

  • Collaborated with the DAO Council to create new tasks that align with DAO initiatives, added and supervised new weekly tasks for each hub, ensuring alignment with ongoing activities and objectives. These tasks included:
    • Push Spaces
    • Push Workshop
    • Governance Call
    • Demo Thursday
    • Narrative of the Month
    • Push Points Program

Implementation of Zealy 2.0 Task Structuring

  • Recognized the need for a more organized structure within Zealy due to the high volume of tasks under a single section.
  • Initiated the division of large task groups into subtasks and created new categories, making it easier for ambassadors to locate and select tasks that align with their interests.

Additionally, maintained ongoing coordination with the DAO Council to support the continuous updating of tasks, integration of new projects, and inclusion of events on Zealy boards, ensuring relevance and alignment with DAO objectives.

Hub Feedback on Zealy 2.0

Received comprehensive feedback from ambassador hubs about the Zealy 2.0 structure, summarized as follows:

  1. Task Categorization Improvement:
  • Ambassadors found the additional categories and modules beneficial for task organization. The structure now provides clearer visibility, making it easier for ambassadors to locate tasks of interest. (All Hubs)
  1. Task Scoring Adjustments Needed:
  • Hubs suggested a review of task scores for better balance. For example, video creation currently awards higher XP than other content, such as long Twitter threads. This score distribution may discourage ambassadors without video creation skills, as they may need to complete more tasks to match the XP earned through videos. (India, Latam Hub)
  • Suggested creating a breakdown of complex tasks (e.g., video creation) into distinct steps such as scripting, recording, editing, and publishing, allowing different ambassadors to contribute to specific parts. (Latam Hub)
  1. Admin Task Recognition:
  • Proposed creating a dedicated “Zealy board maintenance” task to acknowledge the extensive time commitment required for task creation, review, and maintenance. This would ensure PM and administrative activities are recognized in the scoring. (India, Latam Hub)
  1. Additional Scoring and Task Options:
  • Recommended adding additional tasks to expand opportunities for ambassadors and enrich the program. This would provide diverse ways to earn XP, motivating a broader range of contributions. (India, Latam Hub)
  1. Report Enhancements:
  • Suggested improvements to the marketing report to include detailed metrics from social networks and corresponding analysis. This process, while time-intensive, provides insights into community engagement and growth. (Latam Hub)

Conclusion

This month was marked by strategic task restructuring, extensive ambassador support, and feedback implementation aimed at improving the Zealy experience. The new categorization system has been positively received, and I’m working closely with hub leaders to ensure that task scores and structures are fair and engaging for all ambassadors. Additionally, weekly meetings and individual feedback sessions have been invaluable for gathering insights and encouraging active participation in Zealy.

Great job @NooberBoy!

The first month is always the most complicated because of the adaptation and getting used to a new platform.

Very good and detailed report. A huge responsibility to maintain the order of the dashboards of the 3 ambassador hubs.

Likewise, good and constant communication has been key in this process, working as a team to meet the objectives.

Let’s keep moving forward, constant feedback and improving month by month to keep growing as teams.

Keep Pushing :bell: :purple_heart:

Hello, under the African submission report, there is Marylonia and there is Lonia…both are the same person.

The reason is the Marylonia zealy account couldn’t be verified so I was unable to submit my tasks and since I couldn’t change it, I opted to continue my contributions on Push with a different zealy account

Ps: Zealy makes it difficult to change certain information once linked

I hope the information on the board will be updated as I officially used the “Lonia” account to work as a push ambassador
