Push Delegate Program: Call for Delegates

Summary

Following the ratification of Push Delegate Program: Epoch 1 by the DAO, we are making a call for delegates to be selected under the program.

Under the Push Delegate Program, 50,000 PUSH will be delegated to five community members. These tokens will be vested using Hedgey Finance, allowing delegates to vote on Snapshot. The vested tokens will unlock at the end of the first year of Push DAO v2 (May 2025) if a delegate maintains 85% participation rate in discussions and voting.

Responsibilities for Selected Delegates

Selected delegates will be expected to carry out the following responsibilities:

1. Participation in votes

Delegates are expected to maintain a minimum of 85% voting participation rate throughout the entire duration of the program. Maintaining the minimum voting participation rate is also a precondition for delegated tokens to be fully unlocked and vested.

Note: A delegate who fails to maintain a minimum voting participation rate of 85% for 2 consecutive months may be removed from the program.

2. Participation in discussions

Delegates are expected to be actively involved in discussions on the Push Forum. Providing quality feedback on proposals (and even coming up with own proposals) is a crucial aspect of being a delegate. Delegates are to maintain a minimum of 85% participation rate in providing feedback (i.e., commenting) on proposals on the forum.

Note:

  • Failure to maintain a minimum participation rate of 85% in providing feedback/comments on proposals for 2 consecutive months may lead to removal from the program
  • The use of AI-generated content for comments and feedback will be strictly penalised and can also lead to removal from the program.
  • Comments and feedback should be of a high quality.

3. Communicating rationale

Delegates will be expected to maintain a “Delegate Thread” on the forum. Using this thread, delegates will post the rationale behind all their voting decisions. Here is an example of a delegate thread in Arbitrum DAO here. Delegates will also be expected to maintain a minimum rate of 85% in communicating rationale.

Selected delegates will be required to create their own delegate thread on the forum, using the following template:

a. Contact
  • Delegate Address:
  • Snapshot Profile:
  • Twitter:
  • Discord:
  • Forum:
b. Introduction

Provide a statement about yourself, your skills and experiences in web3 and beyond, involvement in the community, etc.

c. Delegate Motivation

Provide a statement of your core values as a delegate. This section should answer the question of “why should people delegate to you?”.

d. Conflict of Interest

Disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest. If there are no conflicts of interest, then state so. Conflicts of interest may include holding significant positions in other ecosystems, etc.

e. Waiver of Liability

By delegating to us, you acknowledge and agree that participation is on a best-efforts basis and we will not be liable for any form of damages related to participation in this DAO.

[Copy-paste the above].

4. Are you part of Push DAO/Community? What is your role?

I am part of Push DAO in Spanish, where I serve as an ambassador for Push Protocol. My main focus is to enhance the user experience through my technical expertise, strengthening the team to make onboarding easier for new users. Additionally, I actively promote the adoption of Push Protocol tools, helping expand their reach and value within the community.

5. Have you previously voted on a Push DAO governance proposal? List them.

Although I am currently taking my first steps in governance, I am familiar with the process and have been actively involved in promoting this program and other governance-related initiatives in the Web3 ecosystem.

  • Promotion of the Push DAO Delegate Program

6. Why do you consider yourself fit for this role? What relevant skills and experiences do you have?

I believe an effective delegate should integrate both technical and non-technical perspectives to enrich decision-making and prevent potential challenges in the ecosystem. My experience combines technical skills in development environments with soft skills for communication and education. I have organized workshops and created accessible tools like [Push Express - DEV Community], which simplifies the use of Push Protocol tools. This reflects my commitment to promoting practical solutions and improving the user experience.

7. What is the biggest challenge with Push DAO governance, and how would you solve it?

A key challenge in Push DAO governance is fostering inclusive participation, especially when technical proposals are difficult to understand. A solution could involve creating proposal summaries in accessible formats like short videos or infographics, shared via Push’s notification app. Automating this with a bot would reduce manual effort. Additionally, encouraging content creation in various formats and promoting discussions between technical and non-technical members in the forum would enhance understanding and collaboration, ensuring proposals are well-informed before being voted on.

8. What is your favorite thing about Push DAO?

What I admire most about Push DAO is its transparency and its focus on community-driven governance. Its goal of empowering users to actively participate in decisions reflects a unique and valuable model within the Web3 ecosystem. This philosophy not only strengthens the community but also drives innovation in an inclusive way.

4. Are you part of Push DAO/Community? What is your role?

Yes, I’m part of Push DAO in Nigeria. My journey with Push Protocol began through a thread contest, which sparked my passion for the project. Since then, I’ve been actively engaged, contributing, and supporting the community to grow. Being part of Push DAO has been an exciting opportunity to collaborate and make a meaningful impact in the Web3 space.

5. Have you previously voted on a Push DAO governance proposal? List them.

I haven’t had the chance to vote on a Push DAO governance proposal yet, but I’m eager to get involved. Participating in the decision-making process is something I’m looking forward to as I continue to engage more actively in the DAO.

6. Why do you consider yourself fit for this role? What relevant skills and experiences do you have?

I’m confident in my ability to serve as a delegate due to my active involvement in Push Protocol and my experience as a content creator. Through creating engaging content, I’ve been able to amplify awareness of Push Protocol, foster community engagement, and inspire others to participate through content i wrote for Push Protocol

My skills in communication, storytelling, and community building equip me to represent the interests of our DAO effectively. I’m passionate about contributing to governance discussions, making thoughtful decisions, and ensuring the community’s voice is heard.

7. What is the biggest challenge with Push DAO governance, and how would you solve it?

While I haven’t actively participated in Push DAO governance yet, one challenge I perceive is ensuring that all community members feel informed and empowered to contribute to proposals and voting. Sometimes, governance discussions can feel complex or inaccessible to newer members.

To address this, I would advocate for more educational content, such as simplified guides, infographics, or videos, to break down proposals and the voting process. As a content creator, I’d leverage my skills to create engaging materials that encourage broader participation, ensuring everyone has the knowledge and confidence to engage meaningfully in governance.

  1. What is your favorite thing about Push DAO?

My favorite thing about Push DAO is the strong sense of community it fosters. It’s not just about the protocol, but about people coming together, sharing ideas, and having a real say in its direction. The inclusivity and collaborative spirit make it feel like everyone’s voice matters. My journey with Push began through a thread contest, and that initial connection has kept me engaged ever since. It’s been incredible to witness the community grow and support each other, and I’m grateful to be part of something so authentic and driven by genuine passion.

4. Are you part of Push DAO / Community? How are you involved?
I am! I joined recently (around june this year) and I’m currently Graphic Designer for Push DAO, also participating on a regular basis on governance calls and supporting the ecosystem initiatives.

5. Have you previously voted on a Push DAO governance proposal?
I haven’t voted yet. I’ve been getting familiar with the dynamics (and getting governance tokens). I’m ready to participate in the following votings to start contributing more directly.

6. What makes you fit for this role? Do you have any relevant skills and experiences?
I’ve worked on governance topics since 2017, not precisely Web3 but Urban Governance. I understand a lot of social organization and I’m very passionate about it (even though I am an introvert haha). My 2017 experience gave me the tools to understand laws, regulations, funding mechanisms and agreements. When I discovered Web3 it all connected because it was the same but with decentralized tooling. Right now, I’m working also as a UI/UX designer for DAO tooling, proposing voting mechanisms that will be deployed by governors, as well as decision making mechanisms and building reputation at the neighborhood level. Lastly, I’m a natural mediator, so I try to have a fair vision of things to make decisions.

7. What is the biggest challenge with Push DAO governance and how would you solve it?
Right now I think it’s the participation ratio. I’ve struggled myself to participate in the last voting period, and (in my case) it was because I lost the important information about deadlines and procedures. I think a good difusion campaing on every voting period, outlining the proposal highlights to the community, as well as the benefits, could draw more attention and interest in participating.

8. What is your favourite thing about Push DAO?
Right now, the team (not biased haha). I think every member of the Council plays an important role and assumes it completely. Everyone of them represents Push DAO proudly wherever they go and that’s something that gives a sense of coherency and trust.

9. Links to your governance-related work or activity (if any)
For now I can only share links to dApps that I’ve designed, that can be used for DAO tooling and budget allocation. You can find some here:

What is your favorite thing about Push DAO?:

My favorite thing about Push DAO is its unwavering support for active contributors within the Push ecosystem. It goes beyond being a governance body, fostering a culture of collaboration and empowerment. A standout example is how it sponsored community members like Nooberboy and Anoyroyc for their Devcon trip, recognizing and encouraging their contributions. 4. Are you part of Push DAO/Community? What is your role?

Yes, I am an active part of the Push DAO and community. I’ve been actively involved in the Push community for nearly a year, building strong connections and contributing to its growth as a Push Ambassador for India.

I’ve managed the Push India Zealy account for ten months, handling submissions, solving issues, and running weekly sync-up calls. As a Super Moderator, I track attendance, encourage inactive ambassadors, and help the team work smoothly. I also onboard new ambassadors for the Push Ambassadors India Chapter, conducting their first meeting to guide them through the program. I ensure they understand how Zealy works, the rewards system, and how to complete their tasks effectively. Additionally, I hold one-on-one calls with ambassadors to address concerns and build a stronger sense of community.

5. Have you previously voted on a Push DAO governance proposal? List them.

Yes, I have actively participated in Push DAO governance by voting on key proposals, such as

  • Push Delegate Program
  • Event Guidelines Proposal

6. Why do you consider yourself fit for this role? What relevant skills and experiences do you have?

I consider myself a strong fit for this role due to my extensive experience in community management, leadership, and active contribution to the Push ecosystem. As a Push India Super Moderator, I have managed the Zealy account for ten months, resolving issues, reviewing submissions, and conducting weekly sync-ups to ensure smooth operations. I have consistently ranked among the top ambassadors in the Indian Hub, fostering engagement and onboarding new members effectively. Additionally, my dedication to creating impactful content and providing high-quality feedback on proposals ensures I can meet and exceed the expectations of a delegate.

7. What is the biggest challenge with Push DAO governance, and how would you solve it?

The biggest challenge with Push DAO governance is balancing short-term actions with long-term goals. Sometimes, decisions focus too much on quick fixes or immediate results, which can make it harder to stay on track with the bigger vision of growing and improving the ecosystem over time. To solve this, I would suggest creating clear guidelines to separate short-term and long-term proposals. For example, we could have separate discussions for ideas that bring quick benefits and those that build for the future. This way, we can make sure short-term actions don’t harm long-term progress and keep everyone focused on the DAO’s larger mission.

8. What is your favorite thing about Push DAO?

Push DAO’s focus on decentralization and community-driven governance is what truly stands out to me. By giving every member a voice in the decision-making process, it empowers individuals to shape the future of the protocol. This transparent and inclusive approach fosters a strong sense of ownership and collaboration, ensuring that the community’s collective wisdom drives the evolution of Push Protocol. It’s a unique model in the Web3 space that prioritizes the values of decentralization and active participation.

6. What makes you fit for this role? Do you have any relevant skills and experiences? (100 words max)

Governance is a driving force in my daily life. I am deeply committed to designing and improving governance structures that address challenges like coalition traps, the tragedy of the commons, and personal interests overshadowing collective decisions. I strive to uphold the community’s values, even when they differ from personal preferences, prioritizing the well-being of citizens and DAO members above all. My approach emphasizes fairness, transparency, and collaboration, ensuring that decisions align with the greater good and foster trust within the community. By focusing on these principles, I aim to create governance models that are both effective and resilient.

7. What is the biggest challenge with Push DAO governance and how would you solve it? (100 words max)

Governance capture is a significant challenge for DAOs. A key weakness across DAOs, including Push, lies in balancing the need for decentralization with the efficiency of centralized systems. Many of us involved lack extensive business development experience and often approach governance with idealism. However, history and practice show that prioritizing the common good and ensuring stability for all stakeholders can lead to sustainable success. By fostering collaboration, learning, and a focus on collective well-being, DAOs can evolve into robust systems that achieve their goals while remaining true to their decentralized ethos.

8. What is your favourite thing about Push DAO? (100 words max)

This is a communication project, an application designed by humans, for humans, with a native and intuitive structure. It seamlessly integrates smart contracts to enhance communication and decision-making processes, fostering transparency and collaboration. By leveraging innovative technology, the project empowers users to build stronger systems while promoting adaptability and resilience. Its human-centered design ensures accessibility and ease of use, bridging the gap between advanced blockchain tools and everyday needs. This approach not only drives the adoption of decentralized systems but also encourages continuous improvement, creating a platform that evolves with its users and their communities.

I have also been helping spread the good word about Push from the growth marketing perspective and I think it’s a valuable perspective to consider when governing Push DAO.

  1. What is the biggest challenge with Push DAO governance and how would you solve it?

The biggest challenge with Push DAO is that it needs a more diverse set of delegate voices , when handling governance in a DAO it is important that various voices from different backgrounds are represented so that decisions coming from the DAO are well rounded and all proposals are not one sided & I believe I will bring a unique approach to how proposals are considered here at Push DAO.

By doing this, we can empower more members to participate in the decision-making process and voting processes.

Yes, I’m an active part of the Push DAO and community. As a Push Ambassador for India, I play a key role in building connections and supporting the community’s growth. I regularly participate in governance calls and consistently rank among the top contributors. I’m also very active on Discord, helping fellow members and providing support.

In addition, my experience as a content creator has allowed me to amplify awareness of Push Protocol, foster engagement, and inspire others to participate. I’m passionate about contributing to governance discussions, making thoughtful decisions, and ensuring that the needs and ideas of the community are prioritized.

7. What is the biggest challenge with Push DAO governance, and how would you solve it?

One of the biggest challenges with Push DAO governance is ensuring that all community voices are heard and that decisions are made with broad participation. With such a diverse and growing community, it can be difficult to engage everyone consistently in governance discussions and votes.

To solve this, I would focus on improving communication and transparency within the community. I’d work to create more accessible channels for discussion, whether through regular updates, better onboarding for new members, or more interactive governance calls. I believe fostering an environment where people feel encouraged to share their thoughts and concerns will lead to more informed and inclusive decision-making, ultimately strengthening the DAO’s governance.

8. What is your favourite thing about Push DAO?

My favourite thing about Push DAO is the strong sense of community and collaboration. It’s amazing to be part of a decentralised ecosystem where everyone’s voice matters and where we can work together to drive meaningful change. The level of engagement and the commitment to innovation within the Push DAO makes it a truly unique and dynamic space. I love how members are encouraged to contribute, share ideas, and actively participate in shaping the future of the Push Protocol. It’s inspiring to be part of something that values both individual contributions and collective growth.

6. What makes you fit for this role? Do you have any relevant skills and experiences? (100 words max)
My experience as co-founder of a web community3 and ambassador for Push LATAM has provided me with the necessary skills to objectively evaluate proposals and make informed decisions on behalf of the collective. Having knowledge about Push, combined with my commitment to the community, allows me to ensure that the decisions I make are aligned with the interests of the DAO.

7. What is the biggest challenge with Push DAO governance and how would you solve it? (100 words max)
I consider Push DAO’s biggest challenge is to encourage more active community participation in governance. To solve this, I suggest a strategy that combines incentives and education. By partnering with other communities, creating engagement campaigns and offering educational resources, we can engage more people and make governance more accessible. In addition, by simplifying voting processes and offering rewards, we can motivate members to participate in a regular and meaningful way.

8. What is your favourite thing about Push DAO? (100 words max)
What I like most about Push DAO is its commitment to community growth and development. Programs like grants and onboarding have been instrumental in fostering innovation and collaboration. However, I think we could do even more to simplify governance and make it more accessible to new users. I am excited to see what we can create together in the near future of Push.

  • I’m the Zealy Project Manager elected by Push DAO, overseeing all three ambassador hubs.
  • I manage the Push India Zealy account, reviewing tasks, solving issues, and hosting weekly calls to keep things running smoothly.
  • As a Super Moderator, I track attendance, motivate ambassadors, and provide one-on-one support to help them succeed.
  • I’m one of the most active ambassadors in the Indian Hub, and my contributions have made a real difference to the Push Ambassador Program.
  • I’ve been recognized as a “Push Chad” for my active role in the community.

I’ve also supported the DAO directly by contributing to proposals, articles, and discussions during meetings.

Yes, I’ve participated in governance by voting on Push DAO governance proposal on the DAO and also on Snapshot.

6. What makes you fit for this role? Do you have any relevant skills and experiences?
I am a strong candidate for this role because I bring a blend of technical expertise and community management skills, which are essential for a delegate.

  • Technical Skills: My background includes experience in development environments, allowing me to understand and assess technical proposals effectively.
  • Leadership and Management: As the Push India Super Moderator, I’ve managed the Zealy account for months, consistently ensuring smooth operations through task reviews, issue resolution, and weekly sync-ups.
  • Community Engagement: I’ve been a top-performing ambassador in the Indian Hub, onboarding and mentoring new members while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Content Creation: My ability to create impactful content and provide insightful feedback on proposals ensures I can contribute meaningfully to discussions and decision-making.

My experience equips me to represent both technical and non-technical perspectives, making thoughtful decisions that align with the DAO’s goals and community interests.

7. What is the biggest challenge with Push DAO governance and how would you solve it?
One of the biggest challenges in Push DAO governance is maintaining active participation and inclusivity. Many community members might feel overwhelmed by the complexity of proposals or unaware of deadlines and voting procedures.

To address this, I would propose:

  • Enhanced Communication: Launching a communication campaign for every voting period, including concise summaries of proposals and deadlines through infographics, videos, and notifications sent via Push Protocol’s app.
  • Engagement Automation: Developing a bot to automate proposal summaries and reminders for upcoming votes, ensuring no member misses critical updates.
  • Education Initiatives: Hosting workshops or AMA sessions to break down complex proposals, encouraging discussions between technical and non-technical community members to enhance understanding and collaboration.

By making the process more accessible and engaging, we can boost participation and ensure the DAO’s decisions reflect the collective wisdom of its community.

8. What is your favourite thing about Push DAO?
I’ve had the privilege of witnessing Push DAO’s growth firsthand, and I feel deeply connected to the community. For me, Push DAO is more than just a governance platform—it’s like a family.

The dedication and professionalism of the DAO council members are truly inspiring. Working alongside them has not only allowed me to contribute meaningfully but has also helped me grow personally. I’m particularly impressed by how the council handles challenges and leads initiatives with transparency and efficiency. It’s exciting to see Push DAO evolving so rapidly, and I’m proud to be a part of this journey.

6. What makes you fit for this role? Do you have any relevant skills and experiences?
I bring over 2 years of experience in Developer Relations at the renowned Web3 gaming SDK provider ReneVerse and more than 4 years as a Web3 Full Stack Developer and Smart Contract Developer with Bankless DAO & other growing startups. With 17 Web3 hackathon wins, I have consistently demonstrated my skills and potential, making me a strong candidate for this role.

7. What is the biggest challenge with Push DAO governance and how would you solve it?
One of the biggest challenges with Push DAO Governance is the lack of alignment with the foundation team and the shortage of experienced developers within Push DAO. This issue, prevalent across most DAOs, significantly contributes to low participation and engagement.

To address this, I propose initiating a discussion to establish a dedicated role focused on bridging the gap between the foundation and the DAO. This role would oversee developer engagement, manage bounties for development tasks, and ensure smoother collaboration and productivity within the DAO.

8. What is your favourite thing about Push DAO?
I have been part of Push DAO’s journey since its inception and have had the privilege of witnessing its evolution. Enabling developers, including myself and Gautam, to experience their first Devcon and international trip has been incredibly fulfilling. It gives me a strong sense of purpose to support the DAO’s growth and work towards building a vibrant, actively engaged community that thrives on meaningful interactions.
