DAO Council Updates
Push DAO received over 7 applicants for the Project Manager for Zealy role.
The Project Manager for Zealy is an exclusive role for ambassadors. The PM will oversee the identification of new bounties/tasks for ambassadors, coordinate and supervise the entire project and task lifecycle. They will collaborate closely with the DAO Council to drive the program forward and empower the leaders of each ambassador hub for 3 months.
A new edition of our Push DAO Verse newsletter is now available, this time dedicated to building DAOs from and by the community.

The weekly governance call is the main push event to kickstart your journey into Push DAO for anyone interested in the DAO.

DAO Council Updates 
As mentioned last week, we received 7 applications for the Zealy Project Manager role. The DAO Council unanimously agreed on a single candidate, NooberBoy (Gautam) to assume this role.
We will be sharing the Push DAO Transparency report soon, which will detail all the milestones we have achieved since the start of Push DAO v2.
Push DAO is finalising the final few Grantee applications, and we will be responding and meeting them over the next few weeks.
Our Weekly DAO thoughts series is ongoing, and a new edition is put out every week, and itās available on the Push Paragraph page.
ETH Safari 2024
Push DAO attended ETH Safari 2024 from September 9th to September 15th.
It was an incredible experience and a very innovative and novel way to do a Web3 conference.
Very good attendance by a lot of African web3 startups, and great representation by projects like Optimism, Avalanche, Starknet, Celo and more.
We spoke about the future of web3 communications and how they will improve the UX and experience for web3 natives, and introduce secure and decentralised messaging for web3 users.

DAO Council Updates
We will soon share a proposal to upgrade, Push DAOās governance; changes will include giving the DAO Council a greater role in governance security and also introducing a dynamic quorum, which will give more power to voters with small voting weights.
We are excited to also announce the Push DAO Devcon Scholarship. We will be giving two Indian Ambassadors a chance to attend Devcon 7 (2024) in Bangkok, Thailand, where we will cover all associated expenses.
We will be sharing the Push DAO Transparency report soon, which will detail all the milestones we have achieved since the start of Push DAO v2.

Apart from the ambassador reports and the weekly recap that were published last week, there is no new activity on the Push DAO Forum. August September is usually a slow month in Web3, so we should see some more updates coming along soon.

DAO Events + Community Highlights.
This Thursday we had our demo Thursdays with GrantShips, one of our recent Push Grantees.
Grant Ships is a novel approach to deciding where funding goes in your Web3 community. Everyone gets to play a part, making choices together to support great projects. Itās all about teamwork, clear choices, and making a big impact. Matt from Grant Ships showed us how to use their platform.
The Latam ambassador hub had their meeting with the Push DAO council on Wednesday, while the Push DAO council will be meeting with the Indian ambassador and African ambassador hub this friday.
We will be having a Twitter Spaces soon with the team from Starknet Africa, the theme of the spaces will be āEmpowering Africaās Future with Push & Starknetā. And we will be joined by the Starknet Africa community manager and one of their smart contract devs.
Push DAO Lead, lan, was recently featured on the Nalikes Podcast, where they discussed DAOs, Grants, and Push Protocolās vision, Check it out.

The trial period for the Push Designers is officially over, and the DAO Council has selected Sofiverse as the official Push DAO Designer. Congratulations Sofiverse.
The Push DAO Devcon Scholarship is officially live. We will be giving two Indian Ambassadors a chance to attend Devcon 7 (2024) in Bangkok, Thailand, where we will cover all associated expenses. Apply before October 4th !!
We will be running a new vote on the Push DAO snapshot space soon; this is a good chance for those who are completing the onboarding process to complete tasks. We will announce the vote before it is scheduled to ensure everyone delegates.
Push Points Program 
Push is excited to announce Phase 1 of Push Points Program, aimed at giving back to the community and devs who have supported Push every step of the way and helped us reach greater heights.
We are committed to building the decentralised communication layer for Web 3. By participating in the points program, you can directly contribute to our growth and empower our vision.

[DISCUSSION] PUSH Delegate Program - Epoch 1
In Push Delegate Program Epoch 1, we will allocate 50,000 PUSH tokens to incentivise governance participation within Push DAO. Five community members will be selected as delegates, and the tokens will be vested using Hedgey Finance, enabling the delegates to vote on governance proposals via Snapshot.
[PROPOSAL] Upgrading Push DAO Governance
This proposal seeks to change the DAOās governance in order to improve Sybil resistance and the threat of potential governance attacks. This includes the ability of the DAO Council to veto any votes they deem to be detrimental to the DAO and the implementation of a dynamic quorum mechanism.
Devcon & Push for Social Impact
This proposal is designed to provide an opportunity for outstanding Push India Ambassadors to engage with the Ethereum ecosystem and represent Push Protocol at Devcon 7 and ETH Bangkok, Thailand. As residents of India, they need to apply for a Builder Discount ticket to the conference through the highlighted methods.

We had our Demo Thursdays with Robert20 representing HallosNFT, one of our Push Grants applicants. Hallos is an NFT ticketing platform where you can buy and resell your event tickets safely and easily. Enjoy your favourite events and receive a NFT for your ticket.
We had a Twitter Space with the team from Starknet Africa; the theme of the spaces was āEmpowering Africaās Future with Push & Starknet.ā And we were joined by the Starknet Africa community manager and one of their smart contract devs. The Spaces is recorded and available on X here.
Starknet team introduced us to a program for all who are interested in joining the Starknet ecosystem. This program is called the Wolf Pack League and allows for onboarding of both technical and non-technical contributors

The Push DAO Devcon Scholarship application has closed. Thank you to all who applied, and we look forward to offering more ambassadors these opportunities. After much deliberation, the DAO Council has selected NooberBoy and Anoy as the winners of the scholarship.

We had an X Space last week with the founder of EkoLance, which is a training and recruitment platform for blockchain professionals. EkoLance, who is one of our grantees, was tasked with creating a workshop on āBuilding a Communication Web3 dApp,ā and this workshop is now on YouTube.
The spaces can also be found on the Push DAO X page, where we discussed the details of the upcoming workshop as well as some great insights about the web3 space by the founder.
We had our Demo Thursdays with ChatterPay today, one of our Push Grantees. ChatterPay is revolutionising DeFi by seamlessly integrating crypto transactions into WhatsApp, instantly reaching its 2 billion users.

Grantee Report for EkoLance: Technical Workshop āBuilding a communication dapp using Push Protocolā
EkoLance is a blockchain education initiative dedicated to training professionals for roles in the blockchain sector. Through a mix of educational programs, workshops, and online hackathons, EkoLance provides hands-on learning opportunities, equipping over 10,000 individuals worldwide with in-demand skills.
EkoLance achieved key milestones, including a technical workshop on building a Web3 communication dApp with Push Protocol, attended live by over 30 developers and 100 registrants. The event fostered community engagement, with 32 participants joining a dedicated Push Chat, where 187 messages were exchanged. EkoLance also created detailed technical documentation and integrated a Push Group Chat on their website, enhancing resources for learners.
DAO Events + Community Highlights.
We had a Twitter Space yesterday with our long-time partner Dexe Protocol. The topic of conversation was āGrantsā and DAO Council members lan and Rene were in attendance. You can listen to a recording of the spaces now on X.
The Push DAO Lead was featured on the Building Web3 Podcast hosted by Jax Dwyer B. They dove into Pushās mission, growth journey, future milestones, & opportunities for builders in the Push ecosystem.
Push DAO Lead, lan also took part in another X space yesterday. He was joined by Joao Garcia who is a contributor to the Cartesi Project, which works on Linux-powered rollups, providing a simple way to build in web3. They spoke about āCartesi x Push: Next Gen DAppsā.
DAO Council member @SixtyKeys and Push India Ambassador @Nooberboy penned an article on āHow Push Chat is Different from Traditional Chat Platformsā which was published to the main Push Blog.

Push Delegate Program: Call for Delegates
Following the ratification of Push Delegate Program: Epoch 1 by the DAO, we are making a call for delegates to be selected under the program. Under the Push Delegate Program, 50,000 PUSH will be delegated to five community members. These tokens will be vested using Hedgey Finance, allowing delegates to vote on Snapshot. The vested tokens will unlock at the end of the first year of Push DAO v2 (May 2025) if a delegate maintains an 85% participation rate in discussions and voting.
Loty - Grantee Report
Loty is a Mexican startup empowering businesses across Latin America to create high-tech loyalty programs through a simple monthly subscription. Loty is a multiple-time Push Grantee and maintains one of the most active Push channels on Push Protocol. Their latest grant was to build an Al notification engine that helps their customers create Tailor-made easy notifications and schedule them to be sent out automatically.
Pranshu Rastogi: Head of Ecosystem & Integration
Pranshu, who is the head of ecosystem and integration at the Push Foundation, made his formal introduction to Push DAO last week. We are super excited to welcome Pranshu to the Push DAO team and look forward to his contributions to the DAO.
October Report: Push Ambassadors
A few months ago, Push DAO passed a vote for new ambassador guidelines, with the mandate to begin using Zealy (a task management platform) for all activities. Part of this vote was hiring a project manager to organise and coordinate the migration to Zealy for all ambassadors. This is the first report by the Zealy Project Manager, highlighting KPls and key objectives of the new ambassador guidelines.

Incredible to see how the Push Protocol ecosystem continues to advance by leaps and bounds. The implementation of the Push Delegate Program to strengthen governance and resilience within the DAO is one of those standout features that showcase the communityās commitment.
